Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Foreign Minister of China
Uzbekistan-China comprehensive strategic partnership relations were discussed with Qing Gan.

On April 12, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang, who came to Uzbekistan to participate in the fourth ministerial conference of Afghanistan's neighboring countries.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further strengthening the Uzbekistan-China strategic partnership relations and expansion of multilateral cooperation.
During the conversation, it was noted with great satisfaction that due to political will and joint efforts, bilateral relations have risen to an unprecedented high level.
In recent years, trade has doubled, the number of joint ventures and projects has tripled and $11 billion worth of investments have been attracted from China. After the resumption of regular flights, which were suspended due to the pandemic, interregional relations, education and cultural-humanitarian exchanges have become more active.
Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of careful preparation for the upcoming state visit to China and the Central Asia-PRC summit.
The importance of implementing the construction project "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China" railway, whose technical documents are being prepared, was noted.
Particular attention was paid to the need to continue close coordination on the peaceful resolution of the situation in Afghanistan and practical assistance to the socio-economic recovery of this country.
