According to the press service, the state flags of the two countries were raised at the international airport of the Egyptian capital for the meeting of the head of state, and a guard of honor was lined up. 

“The leader of Uzbekistan was met and sincerely greeted by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. A short meeting of the heads of state took place,” the report reads. 

Today, the head of state will visit the Cairo Nilomere built by the great scientist Ahmad Ferghani and get acquainted with the exposition of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. A meeting will be held with the heads of leading companies and financial structures of this country. 

The main events of the visit, including high-level talks, are scheduled for tomorrow, February 21.
