Uzbekistan announces spring conscription for military service
The corresponding decree is signed by President Mirziyoyev.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree “On the next conscription of citizens of Uzbekistan for military service and dismissal to the reserve of the armed forces of servicemen who have completed the established terms of service”.
According to the document, in March-April 2023, citizens who are of age and who do not have the right to deferment of military service will be conscripted in March-April 2021.
Military personnel who have completed the established terms of service will be discharged to the Armed Forces reserve.
