According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, it accounted for 15% of the country’s total trade.
Uzbekistan’s export to the countries of Central Asia was $3.1 billion (15.4% increase), and its import was $4.4 billion (18.6% increase).
At the end of January-December 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with Kazakhstan amounted to $4.6 billion (an increase of 17.9%), the export volume reached $1.4 billion, and the import volume reached $3.2 billion.
Foreign trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.3 billion (an increase of 32.1%), the volume of export was equal to $979.3 million, and the volume of import was equal to $280.7 million.
Foreign trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to $926.3 million (an increase of 2.7%), the export volume was $194.8 million, and the import volume was $731.5 million.
Foreign trade turnover with Tajikistan amounted to $674.4 million (an increase of 11.4%), the export volume reached $519.9 million, and the import volume reached $154.5 million.
Kazakhstan has the largest share in the trade turnover of Uzbekistan with Central Asian countries – 62%. Kyrgyzstan accounted for 17%, Turkmenistan for 12%, and Tajikistan for 9%.
