A couple died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Tashkent region
They brought half-burnt coal into their bedroom in order to heat their house.

On January 12, a man, born in 1953, and his wife, born in 1963, died from carbon monoxide poisoning at home in Chirchik, Tashkent region.
The reason for their death was smoke coming from half-burnt coal they brought inside the house to heat the room, UzNews reports with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Currently, the city prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation.
