Uzbekistan seventh in CIS space in terms of providing housing to population
As of January 1, 2022, the indicator of housing provision of the population in the republic was on average 18.2 square meters of the total living space per inhabitant.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this indicator has increased by 2.2 square meters compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
As of January 1, 2022, the level of housing provision of the population in the CIS countries (average square meters of the total living area per inhabitant):
Moldova - 34.3 square meters;
Armenia - 33.9 square meters;
Belarus R. – 28.9 square meters;
Russia - 27.8 square meters;
Kazakhstan - 23.2 square meters;
Azerbaijan - 20 square meters;
Uzbekistan - 18.2 square meters;
Kyrgyzstan - 13 square meters;
Tajikistan - 10.9 square meters.
