Student proposes to create a “troll factory” in Kashkadarya
On December 13, khokim of Kashkadarya region Murotjon Azimov met with students of Karshi State University. During the meeting, one of the students proposed to create a “troll factory” under the regional department of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications to protect interests of the region.
A video from the meeting was published on the university’s Telegram channel.
“In each district of the region, under the regional department of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications, it is necessary to create a team of young bloggers. Student volunteers will work there. They need to be provided with the necessary equipment, as well as regular training seminars,” she said.
The student also explained why this is necessary.
“We need to show the people positive changes that are taking place in Kashkadarya. Also, some bloggers take the wrong approach to critical issues. As you said, they offend us. Let’s create a team that will respond positively to those who are looking for one negative out of 100 positive things,” the girl said.
Khokim of Kashkadarya region Murotjon Azimov said that now the student will work in the regional administration.
Whether the Kashkadarya regional AIMC department will be engaged in the creation of a “troll factory” is still unknown. It is also not known for what means the “team of young bloggers” will be supported.
