Tuition fee amounts at universities for 2024/2025 academic year announced
The tuition fees at state universities will increase by an average of 15% starting from the upcoming academic year (2024/2025). The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation has published the new amounts.

For a bachelor's degree in the most popular specialty, Pedagogy, the tuition fee has increased from 6,412,610 UZS to 7,400,000 UZS.
For the most expensive specialty, Law, the tuition fee has risen from 9,809,260 UZS to 11,250,000 UZS.
The amounts of tuition fees had not increased for the past four years.
"State higher education institutions that have been granted financial independence have the right to independently set the amount of tuition fees for students admitted for the 2024/2025 academic year, in accordance with the established procedure," the statement reads.
