Planes from Minsk and Baku to Tashkent redirected to Samarkand airport due to bad weather conditions
Passenger flights of Uzbekistan Airways HY-756 Baku-Tashkent and HY-710 Minsk-Tashkent were redirected to Samarkand airport on December 8.

At the capital’s airport, the officials explained that due to worsening weather conditions – snow, low air temperature – they had to redirect the flights to Samarkand.
The planes landed in Tashkent later that day at about 23:00.
It is noted that airport employees are constantly cleaning the runway between flights.
