This became known during the meeting, which was chaired by the head of the presidential administration, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
Reportedly, the following additional measures will be taken in Uzbekistan:
• all manufacturers and traders will be banned from exporting liquefied gas;
• in cases where there is no possibility of supplying natural gas, liquefied gas will be delivered to the population;
• extension of temporary restrictions on the supply of electricity to pumping stations in the system of the Ministry of Water Resources until the end of the year;
• increase in imports of gasoline, as well as raw materials for the production of gasoline and diesel fuel;
• preventing the participation of intermediary companies in the trading of AI-80 gasoline on the stock exchange;
• calculation and collection of excise tax on the import of AI-80 gasoline and excise tax on its retail sale is suspended for a period of 2 months;
• the daily volume of AI-80 gasoline sold on the stock exchange will be increased.
Also, by March 1, 2023, vehicles that run on compressed gas and belong to government agencies will switch to gasoline.
