Drivers to be subject to penalty points for violations from December 1

From December 1, 2022, a system of calculating fine points for traffic violations will be introduced to drivers.
According to the presidential decree “On measures to reliably ensure human safety on highways and drastically reduce the number of deaths”, this is done in order to ensure strict compliance with traffic rules and prevent their repeated violations.
In this case, separate penalty points are calculated for each traffic violation for 12 months.
In cases where the calculated penalty points exceed the specified amount, the driver will be deprived of the right to drive the vehicle for a certain period in accordance with the established procedure.
Drivers who have not committed a traffic violation during a certain period are encouraged by reducing the fine points calculated later.
