China remains major supplier of tea to Uzbekistan
In January-September 2022, Uzbekistan imported 23,600 tons of tea from 24 countries for $31.9 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, tea imports decreased by 8.6 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
Major suppliers of tea to Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
- China - 19.7 thousand tons
- Kenya - 1.2 thousand tons
- Iran - 614 tons
- India - 439 tons
- Indonesia - 378 tons
- Sri Lanka - 334 tons
- Russia - 258 tons
- UAE - 190 tons
