According to the press service of the Namangan regional khokimiyat, a traffic accident occurred on October 7 at about 12:50 on the 8th km of the “Namangan-Uychi-Uchkurgan” highway.

Then a Toyota Land Cruiser (a service car with the license plate 50 010 DAV) hit a five-year-old child who was crossing the road.

“The child was immediately taken to a medical facility. A full medical examination was carried out, no serious injuries were found, only a slight bodily injury was detected in the face area. Emergency medical care was provided, no additional treatment is required,” the report said.

According to the regional administration, the child is currently feeling well and is at home.

All accident-related documents are drawn up by employees of the internal affairs bodies.

The amount of the fine and what punishment the driver received was not specified. It is also not known whether the khokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov was at the scene at the time of the accident.

The Regional DIA press service did not publish any news about the accident.
