The document defines the procedure for resolving issues of assigning state pensions, applying pension benefits, recalculating, restoring, paying, deducting from pensions, providing citizens with pensions and other payments.
The administration of organizations annually in December, on the basis of personal statements and work books, draws up lists of employees who will have the right to retire next year both on general and preferential terms.
A citizen has the right to apply for a pension at any time from the day the right to a pension arises, without being limited by any period.
It is not allowed for a branch of the Pension Fund to make a decision to verify the available data for the appointment of a pension, when the information necessary for the assignment (recalculation) of the pension has been received:
- from the accumulative pension system;
- from the electronic centralized register of individual accounting of insurance premiums transferred to the Pension Fund;
- from the electronic centralized register of individual accounting of citizens’ wages;
- from the interdepartmental hardware and software complex of the unified national labor system and information systems of other ministries and departments.
Documents and information that must be attached when applying for a pension are not attached in the following cases where information is available in the interdepartmental software and hardware complex of the unified national labor system:
- when assigning an old-age pension;
- when assigning a disability pension;
- when assigning a pension on the occasion of the loss of a breadwinner.
If the person who applied for the appointment of a pension fails to provide the necessary documents, the Pension Fund branch assists in requesting these documents from the relevant organizations.
