According to the Samarkand regional DIA, on October 13 at 19:00, a fatal accident occurred at the 37th km of the M-37A highway in the direction “Tashkent – Bukhara”.

The 30-year-old driver of Lacetti J.M. lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a metal fence separating the opposite lanes.

As a result of the collision, the driver and his passengers – 25-year-old Yo.U., 41-year-old R.E., 44-year-old A.U. and 34-year-old M.G. – died at the scene due to fatal injuries inflicted.

According to preliminary data, the driver was moving at a speed of 140 km/h.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “a” of Article 266-3 of the Criminal Code (Violation of the rules of traffic safety or operation of vehicles, resulting in human casualties).
