Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards Xi Jinping “Oliy Darajali Dustlik” Order
The ceremony of handing over the highest state award of Uzbekistan – “Oliy Darajali Dustlik” Order – to the President of China Xi Jinping was held in Samarkand.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, while handing over this award, noted that the Chinese President made a great contribution to the development of centuries-old friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Mirziyoyev also stressed that Xi Jinping contributed to the comprehensive strategic partnership relations, strengthening trust and mutual understanding, expanding economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.
It was noted that due to the joint efforts and the special attention of the Chinese leader, the relations between the countries reached a high level, acquired a dynamic tone.
Awarding Xi Jinping with the highest award in Uzbekistan is an expression of deep respect for him as a state and political figure at the international level.
The President of China became the first foreign head of state to be awarded the “Oliy Darajali Dustlik” Order.
