Kun.uz journalists attend seminar-training on personal safety
Within the framework of the project “Supporting efforts aimed at improving the working conditions of journalists” under the Fojo media institute in Sweden, media training was held for journalists of the Kun.uz website.

The training was organized by the director of the New Media Education Center NGO, doctor of philology Beruniy Alimov, the editor-in-chief of Uzreport TV channel Gulnoza Husanova and the editor-in-chief of Kun.uz news media website Dilshod Abduqodirov.
During the training, the organizers gave lectures on the issues of ensuring the personal safety of journalists and shared their experiences. Each journalist had the chance to learn about international practices on conducting fact-checking, maintaining information impartiality, and being able to find the right way in conflict situations.
Journalists also took part in practical exercises divided into groups and learned how to behave in life-threatening situations that may occur during their professional activities. They also studied the opinions of qualified foreign experts.
It was noted that the trainings dedicated to supporting journalists will be continued within the project.
