The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On improving the procedure for providing public services to the population in the field of migration and citizenship formalization, state registration of motor vehicles and issuing them with state registration number plates” was announced.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of ICT Development, will establish a Call center that will cover the territory of the republic with permanent service in the provision of state services in the field of migration and transport registration.
Also, the MIA together with “Uzbekiston pochtasi” organizes measures to send ID cards and biometric passports for going abroad, motor vehicle registration certificates and registration number plates to the citizen’s residential address.
The Main Directorate of Migration and Citizenship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MDMCMIA) will purchase 27 Sparks for its divisions in Tashkent city and regional centers, and 100 Volkswagen Caddys for the registration units of the MIA Public Security Department, Traffic Safety Service (TSS), in accordance with the procedure established by legislation.
In order to ensure the organization of state services in the field of migration and transport registration through permanent residence or leaving the place of residence, 27 tablets and/or technical devices installed on computers will be purchased for MDMCMIA, 135 tablets for TSS in accordance with legal documents.
27 specialists or employees will be recruited to MDMCMIA on the basis of a contract, and 135 additional staff units will be allocated to TSS within the existing staff units of the Traffic Safety Service of the MIA Public Security Department.
In order to effectively organize state services in the field of migration and transport registration, to receive revenues from the provision of mobile state services for an additional fee, and to determine the procedure for their use, funds for organizing the provision of mobile state services of MDMCMIA and TSS will be established.
