On June 30, the Ministry of Energy announced that prices would remain unchanged. Starting from July 15, new gas and electricity prices were set for large enterprises, budget organizations and legal entities such as AMMC, NMMC.
According to the decision of June 30, starting from July 15, 2022, the following prices will be set for 1 kWh of electricity:
• unchanged for the population, i.e. – 295 soums;
• for NMMC, AMMC and budget organizations – 800 soums (currently 450 soums);
• for other legal entities – 600 soums (currently 450 soums).
Prices for 1 cubic meter of natural gas are set as follows:
• unchanged for the population, i.e. – 380 soums;
• for NMMC, AMMC and budget organizations – 1,300 soums (currently 660 soums);
• for CNG filling stations – 1,150 soums (currently 1,000 soums);
• for thermal power stations – 1,000 soums (currently 660 soums);
• for other legal entities – 1,100 soums (currently 660 soums).
The price of liquefied gas for the population will remain unchanged (1,120 soums).
Also, with the aim of adapting enterprises to long-term planning, increasing operational efficiency and energy efficiency, along with new prices for the current year, new prices that will come into force on April 1, 2023 were determined by this decision.
In this case, the following prices will be introduced from April 1, 2023:
On electricity:
• for Navoi MMC, Almalyk MMC and budget organizations – 850 soums;
• for other legal entities – 700 soums.
On natural gas:
• for thermal power stations – 1,200 soums;
• for Navoi MMC, Almalyk MMC and budget organizations – 1,350 soums;
• for CNG filling stations – 1,350 soums;
• for the remaining legal entities – 1,350 soums.
According to the document published by the Ministry of Energy on July 14, the prices for large enterprises such as AMMC, NMMC, budget organizations and legal entities will remain temporarily unchanged. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov signed a resolution to temporarily suspend implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 348 of June 30, 2022 “On the introduction of market mechanisms in the supply of fuel and energy resources”.
