Çavuşoğlu expresses Turkey’s strong support for decisive measures taken by Uzbekistan
On July 4, Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

As the MFA press service reported, at the beginning of the conversation, Çavuşoğlu expressed Turkey’s firm support for the decisive measures taken by Uzbekistan to ensure peace, security and public tranquility in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and to fully support the sustainable development of this region.
The importance of timely and comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the Uzbek-Turkish high-level meetings was emphasized.
In addition, organizational and substantive aspects related to the holding of planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats, including the trilateral meeting “Uzbekistan – Azerbaijan – Turkey” at the level of heads of departments in charge of foreign policy, economics and transport, in Tashkent were discussed.
