At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further development of cooperation in various fields.
 
The sides expressed mutual readiness to build up political dialogue, strengthen the development of inter-parliamentary relations, and organize visits of delegations on a reciprocal basis.

Particular attention was paid to the interaction of the parties within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international institutions.

The need to take effective measures to intensify economic relations and increase trade turnover, attract Omani investments, and implement joint projects were also considered.

The parties expressed their interest in building up cultural, humanitarian, research and educational exchanges.
