Uzbekistan sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine

According to him, more than 19 tons of medicines from Uzbekistan were delivered by plane to a humanitarian hub in Slovakia, after which they were transported to Zakarpattia.          

As Viktor Mikita noted, we are talking about antibiotics and vitamins – a total of 12 positions in the amount of more than 200 thousand pieces. The cost of assistance is more than $1 million. This is the second cargo within the framework of cooperation with representatives of Uzbekistan.

Humanitarian aid will immediately be sent to military doctors in the areas of warfare and hospitals where military personnel are being treated.

“We sincerely thank our friends, entrepreneurs, volunteers from Uzbekistan for their help, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Uzbekistan Mykola Doroshenko for coordinating and organizing the humanitarian corridor,” Viktor Mikita said.
