In order to develop air traffic between Uzbekistan and Russia, the aviation authorities agreed to increase the frequency of flights on the Moscow-Tashkent route from 25 to 39 flights per week. This is stated on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia.
From the Uzbek side, flights will be operated by JSC Uzbekistan Airways and Qanot Sharq, from the Russian side – by Aeroflot, Sibir and UTair.
“The increase in the number of regular flights between the capitals of the two countries will have a positive impact on the further development of bilateral cooperation and meeting the demand of passengers for transportation between Uzbekistan and Russia,” the report says.
