At the ADM Jizzakh plant, preparations are underway for the production of a full cycle for the production of Lada cars. The Minister for Industrial and Agro-Industrial Complex of the EEC Artak Kamalyan spoke about this, Spot reported referring to Izvestia.

Since October last year, the plant has been carrying out SKD assembly of Lada cars: Vesta, ХRay, Largus. According to the minister, the issue of organizing the production of a full cycle, which involves welding and painting bodies, is being worked out.

The assembly process has been adjusted taking into account all AvtoVAZ requirements for equipment, technological processes and quality. The personnel involved in the project have received the necessary training.

“According to the information of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, work is currently underway at ADM Jizzakh to build and equip new production facilities to organize the production process of the Lada Vesta and Lada XRay models,” Kamalyan said.

Uzbek-made Lada cars are mainly oriented to the local market. According to the minister, the Uzbek assembly makes AvtoVAZ products more accessible to local buyers.
