Today, May 27, the Fencing Federation held an extraordinary session, during which the issue of electing a new head of the organization was considered.

Maksud Abdusamadov, Chairman of JSCB Kapitalbank, was nominated for the post and was unanimously approved by the meeting participants.

“Now that I am part of this sports and fencing family, I get to know the situation better. We will formulate new long-term plans. We will create all conditions for the success of our athletes and coaches in the upcoming major competitions,” Maksud Abdusamadov said.

In addition, Gulnara Saidova was re-elected as the Secretary-General of the Fencing Federation.
