Wages set to rise in Uzbekistan by 12% from June 1

According to the document, starting from June 1 of this year, the minimum wage for employees of budgetary institutions and organizations will increase by an average of 12%.

In addition, from June 1, the base calculating amount will be 300,000 soums per month (now 270,000 soums), the minimum wage – 920,000 soums per month (now 822,000 soums).

The costs associated with increasing the wages of employees of budgetary organizations will be covered by the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that on August 17, 2021, the president signed a decree on increasing wages, pensions, scholarships and benefits. According to the decree, from September 1, 2021, Uzbekistan increased the minimum wage for employees of budgetary institutions and organizations, pensions, scholarships and benefits by an average of 10%.

Earlier it was also reported that from May 1 this year in Uzbekistan, the size of pensions and some allowances have been increased by an average of 12%.
