According to the National Olympic Committee, the heads of sports departments and representatives of related structures from Uzbekistan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan will take part in the event. The Chinese delegation will also be represented online at the meeting.

The main meeting of the program will take place on May 20. A visit to the National Olympic Committee of representatives of the delegation that arrived in Tashkent and a trip to the Tashkent region are also planned.

The agenda of the meeting is to discuss the development of cooperation in the organization of high-level sports competitions, the implementation of promising projects in the sports field between the SCO member countries. Along with this, the parties will exchange experience in promoting a healthy lifestyle, large-scale projects to attract the younger generation to sports activities.

It should be noted that the meeting will approve a plan for the implementation of the “roadmap” of cooperation between relevant ministries and departments responsible for the development of physical culture and sports of the SCO member states for 2022-2024.

In addition, the leaders of the SCO sports sector will also share their views on promoting the creation of favorable conditions for the development of a healthy lifestyle among the population, strengthening friendly ties through sports, stimulating athletes, and strengthening cooperation in the development of the Olympic Movement.
