According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Deputy PM, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov and Minister of Tourism of Israel Yoel Razvozov, who is on a visit to our country, delivered a welcoming speech at the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
The event was organized by the Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the European Union’s Switch Asia Project, the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project, the Embassy of our country in Germany, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and others.
This year the exhibition was attended by the most active representatives of tourist organizations of Uzbekistan and around the world. These are more than 90 companies from more than 10 countries. Among them are representatives of the tourism industry of Germany, Austria, Spain, Israel, the Czech Republic, Estonia, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
In the era of digital transformation and information technology, which have deeply penetrated the tourism industry, an important factor in competitiveness is the issue of taking into account all aspects of environmental sustainability. Therefore, the use and active use of available efficient “green” technologies in the country’s tourism sector and the popularization of CBT tourism, which is growing in popularity in the world, is an important factor in increasing the potential of the tourism industry at the international level.
During the event, tourism industry professionals were able not only to discuss exciting problems, but also to find answers to pressing questions. Productive meetings were also held with potential clients and new partners with the further conclusion of cooperation agreements and the signing of memorandums.
The international tourism exhibition in the B2B format “Tashkent Travel Mart 2022” is a specialized tourism platform for expanding intra-industry dialogue and developing optimal solutions and ways for market development in new conditions.
