On March 11, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Ivan Korčok, Dunyo news agency reported.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties noted with satisfaction that in recent years, Uzbek-Slovak relations have been developing dynamically, filled with new practical content. Mutual interest was expressed in intensifying political dialogue both at the bilateral level and within the EU.
The schedule of upcoming events was considered, including the visit of the Slovak Foreign Minister to Uzbekistan.
The presence of significant opportunities for building up trade, economic, scientific, technological, cultural and humanitarian cooperation was noted.
The Uzbek-Slovak talks took place as part of the participation of the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov, in the second Diplomatic Forum in Antalya (Turkey).
