According to the MIA press secretary, on February 11, 2022 at 20:30, a resident of “Madaniyat” mahalla of Mirishkor district A.K. appealed to the police department and reported that resident of “Chandir” village of the district, S.Kh. (born in 1986) was quarreling with neighbors in a drunken state on the street, disturbing their peace.
Upon arrival at the scene, the prophylactic inspectors registered the offense and placed S.Kh., a drunken man, in the Kashkadarya regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Narcology.
Patient S.Kh. was examined by doctors and hospitalized. At 23:40, the patient was taken to the Kashkadarya regional branch of the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Care after the patient’s health deteriorated.
Despite the fact that the patient S.Kh. was given first aid by doctors at the hospital, on February 12 at 01:30, he was diagnosed with “severe alcohol intoxication, aspiration syndrome, alcohol coma, acute respiratory failure grade II-III, acute cardiovascular failure grade II” and died.
“The situation was monitored by prosecuting bodies and the investigation revealed no signs of bodily injury or other physical violence on the body of the deceased S.Kh.,” a spokesman of the MIA said.
According to the Kashkadarya regional prosecutor’s office, the results of the study have not yet been made public. According to it, the Karshi city prosecutor’s office is investigating the death of S.Kh. in the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Center.
It is noted that the regional prosecutor’s office has established control over the investigation.
