Uzbekistan increases passenger car imports
In 2021, Uzbekistan imported 27,067 cars from 26 foreign countries for $588.2 million, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.

According to the committee, imports increased by 1,348 compared to 2020.
In 2021, about 33% of foreign cars imported to Uzbekistan came from China and 24% from South Korea. Russia and Kazakhstan together account for 33% of Uzbekistan’s imports.
The list of major exporters of passenger cars to Uzbekistan:
- China - 8,880
- South Korea - 6,472
- Russia - 4,539
- Kazakhstan - 4,470
- Poland - 1,204
- USA - 490
- Lithuania - 428
- Thailand - 250
- Germany - 115
- Japan - 97
Last year, the country produced a total of more than 236.6 thousand cars.
