Alisher Kadyrov asks Foreign Ministry to ban Vladimir Zhirinovsky from entering Uzbekistan
Chairman of the Central Council of the Milliy Tiklanish Political Party, deputy speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, deputy Alisher Kadyrov once again criticized LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky. His statement was published by the press service of the political party.

Earlier Zhirinovsky spoke negatively about Uzbekistan several times, in particular after the recent events in Kazakhstan.
On January 20, the press service of the Milliy Tiklanish Political Party again published Alisher Kadyrov’s statement, which he made in September 2021.
“Winston Churchill said, ‘You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.’ Most likely he had in mind such persons as Zhirinovsky. First, all Zhirinovsky’s statements, although they are not official, have a negative impact on Russia’s international reputation. For Russia’s small partners, there is a feeling and anxiety that Russia is an invader and a hypocrite,” Kadyrov said.
In his opinion, Russia is not thinking about how to restore the empire and annex other territories, but about how not to destroy the country.
“Therefore, officials should be the first to respond to Zhirinovsky’s statement,” Kadyrov said.
He noted that government officials in Russia apply sanctions against individuals who mistreat the Russian diaspora in Central Asia.
“But for some reason, they are silent when their officials insult other nations. Isn’t that hypocrisy?” the deputy said.
He emphasized that it is precisely such statements that spoil relations between local and Russian-speaking residents.
“I think we should also introduce sanctions against people who do not respect our country,” he concluded.
A Kun.uz correspondent also contacted the deputy chairman of the central council of the Milliy Tiklanish Political Party.
Mirodil Abdurakhmonov supported Alisher Kadyrov’s statement.
“Many countries have sanctions lists. They include people who disrespect the state. But our Foreign Ministry is still silent. […] We must ban Vladimir Zhirinovsky from entering Uzbekistan. There are 5-6 such deputies in the State Duma as Zhirinovsky. They always insult Uzbekistan. Why doesn’t any of the officials in Uzbekistan talk about this? The Foreign Ministry should draw up a list of such persons and ban them from entering the country,” he said.
