Funds for development of business infrastructure created under khokimiyats
The presidential decree “On additional measures for the development of entrepreneurial infrastructure in the regions of the country” was adopted.
The decree created Funds for Development of Entrepreneurial Infrastructure under the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of regions and the city of Tashkent.
The main source of funds is income from land privatization and land lease.
Funds are directed to:
ꞏ arrangement of external engineering networks and communications in residential areas of the state housing program “New Uzbekistan”;
ꞏ providing projects included in investment programs with external engineering and communication networks in the amount of more than 200 billion soums, if the investor has at least 25% of his own funds;
ꞏ development of master plans for settlements, administrative planning assignments for districts and detailed planning projects.
According to the decree, the Urbanization Development Fund has been terminated.
