According to the draft Roadmap for the implementation of the development strategy for 2022-2026 in 2022, it is planned to allow citizens of Uzbekistan who have decided to stay abroad permanently to submit and receive documents online based on the direct integration of interdepartmental information systems.
It is also planned to provide online assistance in the identification of citizens who have lost their documents online at diplomatic and consular missions and the restoration of documents.
Information kiosks will be set up in diplomatic and consular posts, and citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to receive certain consular services (references, answers to inquiries) from devices without the participation of consular staff.
Information security of computer systems of diplomatic missions and consulates of Uzbekistan abroad will be improved, the necessary computer equipment, IP-telephony system, servers and high-speed Internet channel will be provided.
