Uzbekistan to develop AI strategy and establish AI Technology Center
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to establish an Artificial Intelligence Technology Center, create a legislative framework for AI, and develop the startup ecosystem.

At a presentation on August 13, measures for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, banking, taxation, and customs were discussed.
It was noted that the first priority is to create a legislative framework for artificial intelligence. The task was set to develop a strategy for AI implementation and a two-year program of projects. Additionally, the creation of an AI Technology Center was mandated.
The president highlighted the importance of expanding the use of AI in the banking and financial sector, preparing specialized personnel, and improving the qualifications of employees.
It was also emphasized that it is time to create broad conditions for venture investments to finance startup projects. In this regard, instructions were given to develop the startup ecosystem and implement venture financing mechanisms.
