Today, December 7, due to heavy fog, several flights were delayed. In particular, an Aeroflot flight SU-1976 from Moscow failed to land in Urgench at 06:40 and left for the opposite airport in Nukus.
Another flight of Uzbekistan Airways (HY053) is expected to depart from Tashkent to Urgench. According to the schedule, the plane was to land in Urgench at 08:20 and then fly to Istanbul on flight HY279.
However, Urgench airport is shrouded in fog: the visibility is 400 meters. The optimum visibility for the flight is at least 800 meters. According to forecasters, the fog should dissipate soon.
The fog also delayed flight HY091 from Tashkent to Andijan. The flight was scheduled to take off at 08:30, but due to fog at the airport of arrival, the departure time changed to 12:00.
