Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Turkey
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a visit to Turkey on November 11-12 to take part in the next summit of the Turkic Council in Istanbul.

According to the presidential press service, the upcoming high-level meeting will focus on a wide range of issues, including trade, investment, green economy, digital technologies, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The issues of further improvement of the organization's activity will also be considered.
Following the summit, joint documents will be adopted to increase the effectiveness of cooperation and strengthen multilateral partnership in sustainable areas.
It is noted that the agenda of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit also includes a series of bilateral meetings in Istanbul.
The Turkic Council was established in 2009 to strengthen relations between the member states.
Today, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are members of the Council. The country joined the organization in 2019. Hungary has observer status in the council.
