A wanted ISIS member extradited to Uzbekistan
The State Security Service has brought to the country from abroad a citizen of Uzbekistan wanted for links to international terrorist organizations.

The man left the country in 2014 for seasonal work in Russia and joined the ranks of international terrorist organizations via the internet, the SSS press service reported.
In March 2015, he and his friend crossed into Ukraine via Turkey and then into Syria, where he joined the Islamic State international terrorist organization.

From 2015 to 2021, he took part in hostilities with terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq.
Currently, SSS officers are conducting investigations into the criminal case against the man.
