US and German Embassies in Uzbekistan announce resumption of issuing visas
From October this year, the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent will resume issuing visas for citizens of Uzbekistan, the press service of the diplomatic mission reported.

“Starting in October, the Consular section will accept limited appointments for citizens and residents of Uzbekistan only. The only visa classes that we will accommodate are F, J, H, O, P, L, C1D, I, R, along with diplomatic visas,” the statement says.
The embassy emphasized that at present, the Consular section is not accepting regular appointments for business and tourist B1B2 visas.
It also became known that the embassy continues to receive urgent requests on an individual basis.
“The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent continues to schedule emergency appointments on a case-by-case basis. If you have a medical or family emergency, please email consulartashkent@state.gov, summarize your request, and attach any necessary documents. We will respond to you accordingly,” the diplomatic mission added.
The German Embassy in Tashkent has also resumed issuing visas.
According to the diplomatic mission, the visa department is open during normal opening hours from Monday to Thursday: from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 13:00 to 17:15, on Friday: from 8:00 to 14:00.
“Schengen visa applications will be accepted with the exception of cases related to COVID-19. From September 6, 2021, applications for a national visa for admission to undergraduate or graduate programs can also be submitted through the Visametric service provider, which is subject to confirmation of enrollment,” the embassy noted.
It should be recalled that on August 22, the Embassy of Germany in Uzbekistan suspended the issuance of visas.
