On September 15, 619 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 142 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 166,644 (+619).

Reportedly, 231 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 38 – in Karakalpakstan, 16 – in Andijan, 6 – in Bukhara, 16 – in Jizzakh, 7 – in Kashkadarya, 8 – in Navoi, 18 – in Namangan, 54 – in Samarkand, 11 – in Syrdarya, 9 – in Surkhandarya, 47 – in Fergana, 22 – in Khorezm and 136 – in Tashkent region.

6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,175.

As of September 15, the number of recovered stands at 159,444 (+1,067).

Also, 142 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 25,823. According to the Ministry of Health, 426 of them recovered yesterday (20,772 in total).

2 pneumonia patients died on September 15, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 210.
