Dilorom Tursunova recalled that the mask regime has not yet been canceled in Uzbekistan.

“Vaccinated or not, everyone should wear masks. If a person is alone, there is no one around him, and there is no danger of contracting the coronavirus, then in such cases it is possible not to wear a mask,” the expert concluded.

According to the latest data, on August 20, 881 people contracted the coronavirus in the republic. The total number of reported cases was 148,203.

The total number of people cured of coronavirus in the country has reached 140,941, or 95% of cases. Also over the past day, seven new death cases were recorded. The official death toll stands at 1,015.
