On August 19, 863 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 395 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 147,322 (+863).

Reportedly, 157 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 92 – in Karakalpakstan, 41 – in Andijan, 27 – in Bukhara, 50 – in Jizzakh, 20 – in Kashkadarya, 20 – in Navoi, 39 – in Namangan, 93 – in Samarkand, 22 – in Syrdarya, 88 – in Surkhandarya, 90 – in Fergana, 31 – in Khorezm and 93 – in Tashkent region.

6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,008.

As of August 19, the number of recovered stands at 140,088 (+1,067).

Also, 395 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 19,981. According to the Ministry of Health, 353 of them recovered yesterday (12,521 in total).

3 pneumonia patients died on August 19, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 135.
