Deputies adopt a draft resolution on expansion of Tashkent’s territory

A total of 7,853.3 hectares of land from Tashkent region (including 3,250.1 hectares of agricultural land) will be transferred to the city of Tashkent, and 171.3 hectares from the capital to the Tashkent region.

In particular, the following land plots are being transferred:

  • 1,827.1 hectares of land from the Zangiota district of Tashkent region (Chorbog, Belariq, Fayzli, Jaloyir, Nomdanak, Kumarik, Khonobodtepa, Tarakkiyot, Qorasuv, Khanabad, Kushbegi, Sokhibkor, Istiklol, Nurafshon mahallas) to the Sergeli district of Tashkent city;
  • 490.0 hectares of land from the Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region (Gulbog, Yik ota mahallas) to the Bektemir district of Tashkent city;
  • 1,134.2 hectares of land from the Urta Chirchik district of Tashkent region (Bektemir, Nurafshon, Namuna, Yangi khayot, A. Navoi mahallas) to the Bektemir district of Tashkent city;
  • 2,294.6 hectares of land from the Kibray district of Tashkent region (Geofizika, Alisherabad, Chingeldi, Dustlik, Taraqqiyot, Barkamol, Bogishamol, Vatanparvar, Amir Temur, Mevazor, Gulbog, Gulzor-1, Pastki yuz mahallas) to the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city;
  • 2,107.4 hectares of land from the Kibray district of Tashkent region (Jarboshi, Tashisti, Ibrat, Mirishkor, Argin, Bakhor, Chinor, Tovkentepa mahallas) to the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city;
  •  33.8 hectares of land from the Sergeli district of Tashkent city to the Zangiota district of Tashkent region;
  • 137.5 hectares of land from the Bektemir district of Tashkent region to the Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region.

The draft resolution was adopted by deputies and sent to the Senate.
