“Of course, it is a great honor and responsibility to participate in the Olympic Games. We all understand this very well. It takes a lot of effort and testing. We decided to reward the winners of the Olympics, their coaches and all the participants,” the head of state said.
According to him, the coaches of the Olympic champions will receive $40,000 each, and the mentors of the bronze medalists will receive $20,000 each.
“Today we respectfully announce the names of such experienced coaches as Tulkin Kilichev, Pavel Khan, Farkhod Mirzajanov, Nurali Kobulov, Muzaffar Abdurakhmanov, who have shown real dedication in training our winners,” Mirziyoyev stressed.
It also became known that each participant in the Olympics will be awarded a cash prize of $5,000.
“Considering the fact that every athlete who took part in the Olympic Games goes through years of hard training, we can be sure that they, too, deserve awards along with the winners today. Taking this into account, we decided to award each of these athletes with a cash prize of $5,000,” the head of state concluded.
