Uzum contributed over 1.2 trillion UZS to Uzbekistan’s budget in 2024
Uzum, Uzbekistan’s leading digital ecosystem, became one of the country’s top private taxpayers in 2024, contributing approximately 1.2 trillion UZS (over $94.8 million) to the national budget. This achievement secured Uzum’s position as the second-largest private taxpayer in the country. Over the past year, the ecosystem's tax contributions grew by 28%, now accounting for 0.3% of Uzbekistan’s total national budget revenue.

By the end of 2024, one in every three residents of Uzbekistan was using services provided by the Uzum ecosystem. More than 11,000 employees across the country work on developing and maintaining these services. In addition, Uzum is actively creating jobs in the IT sector and providing growth opportunities for youth across all regions of Uzbekistan. In the past year alone, the company created nearly 3,000 new jobs, not including positions at Uzum’s partners.
Moreover, job creation is also happening at Uzum’s partners, who use the ecosystem's services and infrastructure to grow their own businesses. This includes entrepreneurs selling products on the national marketplace Uzum Market, as well as restaurants, cafes, and stores collaborating with the express delivery service Uzum Tezkor, among others. As the digital ecosystem grows, it is fostering new opportunities for the formalization and expansion of small and medium-sized businesses throughout the country.
