Shavkat Mirziyoyev sends a letter of condolences to Angela Merkel and Frank-Walter Steinmeier

On July 18, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a letter of condolences to the Chancellor and the President of Germany in connection with the numerous human casualties as a result of the catastrophic flood.
Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and friends of the victims, the entire people of Germany, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
According to the latest reports, the number of victims of the devastating floods in Germany has reached at least 157.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel described the flooding as “terrifying”.
The European floods, which began on Wednesday, have mainly hit the German states of Rhineland Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia as well as parts of Belgium. Entire communities have been cut off, without power or communications.
