Also on May 10, the president signed a decree “On amendments and additions to the presidential decree on the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the postponement of day-offs in 2021.”

The document states that the following days are declared holidays for all, regardless of the working week mode:

  • May 15 (Saturday);
  • 21 July (Wednesday);
  • 22 July (Thursday);

In addition, the republic postponed the following weekends:

  • from July 17 (Saturday) to July 21 (Wednesday);
  • from July 24 (Saturday) to July 22 (Thursday).

Earlier, it was reported that residents of Uzbekistan enjoyed four-day holidays in Eid al-Fitr.
