Senate to consider laws on the state language and freedom of conscience
The 16th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis is scheduled for June 25.

The Senate Council held a meeting, chaired by Tanzila Norbaeva, on June 21, at which it decided to convene a 16th plenary meeting on June 25, 2021.
The plenary session will consider a number of issues, including activities on ensuring openness and transparency in the state bodies of the Senate, the formation of a committee on ensuring information policy and openness in the state bodies of the Senate.
Also, the meeting will discuss the Law on Official Statistics, Law on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations, the Law on Courts, the Law on State Language, the Law on the State Budget 2021 and the Law on Amendments and Additions to Legislative Acts for the Further Improvement of the Procedure for Combating the Legalization of Proceeds from Criminal Activities.
In addition, it is planned to consider changing the borders of the Akkurgan, Ohangaron, Bekabad, Bostanlik, Buka, Zangiata, Yukorichirchik, Kibray, Parkent, Pskent, Urtachirchik, Yangiyul districts and the cities of Almalyk, Chirchik, Angren, Yangiyul, Bekabad.
Other topics provided for discussion are measures to develop the blood donation sphere, parliamentary requests to the Cabinet of Ministers on problems in wastewater treatment plants, the impact of shortcomings on the environment and public health.
Further, it is planned to discuss the results of the parliamentary request sent to the Cabinet of Ministers on the work carried out to achieve the creation of infrastructure, industrialization and support for innovations provided for in national goals and targets in the field of stable development until 2030, and other issues.
Finally, the Senate will consider the results of the examination of mahallas, ensuring the protection of the rights and interests of women, supporting entrepreneurship, employment and the implementation of measures established in the sphere.
