Uzbekistan sends 1 million medical masks to Turkey as part of humanitarian aid

On May 2, Uzbekistan sent humanitarian aid to Turkey to help combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The cargo was delivered to Turkey by the national air carrier Uzbekistan Airways in accordance with a relevant government decree approved by the President, UzA said.
The cargo included medical equipment and 1 million Ecos N 95 medical masks.
It was earlier reported that Uzbekistan Airways would cancel a number of flights to Turkey due to increasing COVID-19 cases.
