BelaPAN experts have analyzed data from national statistical authorities.
According to the rating, the increase in consumer prices in Belarus was the highest in CIS since the beginning of 2021 – 3.1%.
The next places were taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia (2.8% each), Ukraine (2.3%), Georgia (2.2%), Kyrgyzstan (2%), Uzbekistan (1.7%), Estonia (1.5%), Russia (1.46%), Tajikistan (1.4%), Kazakhstan (1.3%), Moldova (0.84%), Latvia (0.8%) and Lithuania (0.7%).
Turkmenistan does not publish inflation rates.
In February, price increase was as following: Belarus – 1.94%, Azerbaijan – 1.6%, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan – 1.1% each, Ukraine – 1%, Estonia – 0.9%, Russia – 0.78%, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan – 0.7% each, Armenia and Uzbekistan – 0.6% each, Latvia – 0.4%, Moldova – 0.38% and Lithuania – 0.2%.
